New Release: As I Am by Jake Ruplinger!
In December one of my Ear Training students at Berklee College of Music turned in an assignment, an original composition that mixed modes. It was a video of him playing guitar and singing a verse and chorus of a new tune, and I was blown away. I thought he was just a talented and nice kid that sat in the front row of my 9am class… but he’s a great artist!
In January I had him over to my home studio to record the tune and any others that he was ready to document. He recorded these three tunes live and I added trumpet. What we got was this great new EP! Please check it out! I think he’s fantastic and really proud with how this came out!
